PRODUCT MOCKUPS
I design realistic mockups to showcase a variety of products that Signs.com offers on their website.
The goal of this work is to cut the cost of web image production by 90%. Instead of printing 10 different design versions of a given product for a web page, we use one plain white sample and design different layouts on top of a product photo. One mockup is usually done within 4-8 hours depending on the complexity of the product and design.
My process includes taking pictures of a product from different angles, cutting out the background and editing the image. Lastly, I superimpose my design on top of the photo and make it look realistic by adjusting perspective and adding shadows.
